Before I knew Jesus, I tried to find meaning and happiness in my own way. I thought I could handle everything on my own, but I often felt empty and lost inside. Over time, I began to realize that I needed something … something that would last. That’s when I began to trust in Jesus’ love and forgiveness. I came to understand that He died for my sins and rose again so that I could have new life in Him. When I decided to follow Jesus, everything began to change. I found peace, purpose, and hope that I never had before. I know I’m not perfect, but I’m forgiven and loved by God. Today, through baptism, I’m declaring my faith in Jesus Christ. This moment symbolizes that my old life is gone and that I’m made new in Him.
