I’ve always believed in God, I grew up in a Christian family, friends who believe in God, and overall a religious community. I always knew God existed but never gave it any attention and didn’t see it as something I needed to focus on in my life. Eventually middle school came around and as many know middle school is a place of a lot of character development. When I first discovered the real concept of God, I questioned my belief in Him. Then eventually came the typical life experiences: the losses of friends, the insecurity, the constant drama. I didn’t know how to handle it but unlike a lot of people my age I decided to go to God. I’ve seen a lot of people in my family struggle with pain and grew wiser once they grew their connection with God. I decided to give it a try and eventually grew my relationship and trust with Him and now put any situation that comes my way in His hands without hesitation. This has made my life so much better knowing I have someone to trust and everything happens for a reason. That is my testimony and I can’t wait to continue and grow my relationship with God and embrace all the things He brings for me in my future.
