Mark Maugle

I grew up in a Baptist church and asked God into my heart as a teenager, but never followed through with getting baptized. While I was in college I asked my friend Joe to come to church with me. In the young adults Sunday school class the teacher berated my friend for not believing in God. At that point I stopped going to church. 


About 7 months ago, I started attending GBC with my sister and brother-in-law. After several weeks, I came back to God and asked Him to take control of my life. It is time for me to make this declaration public.

Since asking Jesus back into my life, I felt a sense of relief. I have been asking God each day to help me to serve in the path He has for me.

John 3:16 (KJV) — “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
