Alan Metivier

My name is Alan.

Years ago, I accepted Jesus into my life, but over time, life’s struggles and my own choices led me down a difficult path. I fell into alcoholism, and along the way, I lost connection and communication with people I love—especially my daughters, and some close friends.

There were times I felt distant, not just from others, but from my faith as well. But deep down, I never lost the desire to come back.

Today, I stand here for baptism as a symbol of that return—a commitment to reconnect with God, to rebuild what’s been broken, and to walk forward in faith, humility, and hope.
