Caring Ministry

If you're going through a difficult time in your life, we want to encourage you this very moment that God cares for you.

Re|engage is discipleship-based enrichment for every marriage – the healthy, the struggling, and the broken. This ministry draws married couples to the church, giving them a safe place to move toward oneness through small groups, teaching, and stories of hope.

Celebrate Recovery

We all sustain damage in life. Celebrate Recovery engages God’s scriptural pathway for healing to recover from this damage, so that we can each experience Gods love, grace and true freedom that He has in store for us.

We meet at 6:30 pm on Monday nights, and at 5:30 PM on the first Monday of the month for potluck dinner. There is no registration required, just show up and start on the road to recovery.

Stephen Ministry

This is unique, distinctively Christian, confidential one-one-care. If you are in need of someone to help bear your burdens, or feel led by God to become a Stephen Minister, please get in touch with us.

Generations

Generations exists to foster inter-generational love and respect, and to provide practical hands-on help, experiences, care and assistance, and mutual edification. Come for food, fellowship and bible study!

We meet on the first and third Thursday of each month at noon at GBC.

Grief Share

Grief Share is a special seminar and support group for those grieving the loss of someone close, hosted by people who understand what you are experiencing and want to offer you comfort and encouragement during this difficult time. We meet every Thursday evening from 6:30-8:30pm during two 13-week sessions in the Spring and Fall.

Divorce Care

Find Help, Discover Hope, Experience Healing. Divorce Care meets every week to help you recover from the pain of separation or divorce. This weekly support group and seminar will help you learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. We meet on Thursday evenings from 6:30-8:30pm during two 13-week sessions in the Spring and Fall.

Memorial Ministry

The mission of this ministry is to support, serve and reflect Christ’s love to grieving family and friends with a full reception after a funeral or Celebration of Life Service. If you are interested in volunteering for this ministry, please contact us using the button below.

Visitation Ministry

GBC Staff and Visitation Ministry volunteers visit those in hospitals, rehab facilities and homes. This ministry allows us each to practice the “purity of undistracted presence” that is so lacking in our fast-paced world. If you would like to be a part of this simple but profound ministry, please get in touch.

H.O.P.E. Meal Ministry

The H.O.P.E. Meal Ministry provides prepared frozen meals to those in need within the Chapel body as a secondary assistance to Chapel Small Groups and familial care. We get together on an as-needed basis to replenish our supplies of ready-to-serve meals.

His Sentiments Card Ministry

We make handmade cards for those in our fellowship (and folks they are connected with) to celebrate births, to share sympathy, to pray for health and all other occasions in between, as well as having a prayer and devotional time.

Project CHRISTmas Share

Each Christmas through Project CHRISTmas Share, hundreds of gifts are donated and delivered by our Church family to needy families both within and without GBC. We invite you to be part of this wonderful once-per-year ministry.

Thanksgiving Baskets

Each Thanksgiving, hundreds of folks engage with one another, serving those in need through a Thanksgiving meal. Please join us during this season to bless those around us.

Breaking of Bread

This is a ministry of reaching out to folks who are unable to make it to church on Sundays, and are therefore unable to break bread as part of our Church family. If you would like to visit with folks and break bread with them, please get in touch to find out how you can help.

Prayer Shawl Ministry

This Ministry is made up of skilled servants who knit colorful, warm shawls. The creation of these shawls is done under a covering of prayer, and when they are completed, they are provided to folks in need of comfort for various reasons, along with a written prayer.
