Welcome to Groton Bible Chapel!

We are a non-denominational church of those who love Jesus Christ. Our weekly gatherings are designed to bring the Good News of Christ to those who have never heard and to challenge believers to greater obedience.

We offer two worship styles: our 8:30AM service features music which is a mix of traditional and newer praise songs, led by a small praise choir and orchestral accompaniment. At 10 & 11:30AM, a full praise band leads our music in contemporary style. The same biblical and practical sermon is given at all three services.

From the Summer Sermon Series, "The Fruit of the Spirit"

The Bible says...

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. --Galatians 5:22-23

Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. --1 John 4:7

Our teaching series this summer, will examine the Fruit of the Spirit, based Galatians 5:16-25. Each week, we look in depth at one of the nine aspects of growing in our faith. If we are believers in Christ and spend time with Him, we should start to exhibit His traits. This first week, we will introduce the series and study the master trait of love. Do I love others like God loves me? Am I a more loving person than I was last year? Do I spend enough time reading God’s Word and spending time with Him so that I start to resemble Jesus? If the fruit of the Spirit is growing in my life, others will see Christ reflected in me.
