Seeing the Snow, Hearing the Scripture & Saying Our Prayers to a Great God

God has been interrupting our lives with His ways of doing His workaround the world. This week, in SE Connecticut, it has been snow… joy to some, tragedy to others. Regardless of our point of view, the Bible encourages us to use the Scripture to cry out to God for the nations...

Job 37:5-7 NIRV “God’s voice thunders in wonderful ways. We’ll never understand the great things he does. He says to the snow, ‘Fall on the earth.’ He tells the rain, ‘Pour down your mighty waters.’ He stops everyone from working. He wants them to see his work.” PRAY: That people will see and hear God’s glory… and His work… and turn to worship Him.

Job 38:22,23 NIRV “Have you entered the places where the snow is kept? Have you seen the storerooms for the hail? I store up snow and hail for times of trouble. I keep them for days of war and battle.” PRAY: That nations will see and hear Creator God, understand that He is God above all gods, and acknowledge Him as Lord of their lives. Isaiah 1:18,19 “‘Come now, let us settle the matter,’ says the Lord. ‘Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; Though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.’”

PRAY: That men, women, and children would understand the death of Jesus on the cross, taking our sins on Himself, and repent, giving their lives to Jesus.
