We conclude our Ruth studies by looking at the final “three scenes”... the gate, the gathering and the geneology... And for most of us living in the 21st century this conclusion seems somewhat anti-climatic... Yet from the perspective of the writer of Ruth this ending is wonderful, amazing and worshipfull. Ruth 4:1 - Note the introductory word, “Meanwhile...” What has happened that takes place simultaneously with Boaz’s conversation with the unnamed kinsman-redeemer?
