Relational in Nature
John 14:16-17 - Throughout the Gospels, we see the relationship between the God-head referred to as we see here. God is not only self-existent and self-sufficient, but He is relational within His being - The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit exist in relationship - loving and serving each other. Therefore, God does not need His creation to be loving and relational; He is so within Himself (self-existent). How does that make His love and Christ’s incarnation and sacrifice for us even more profound?
