Psalm 107:23-32 Proud
What is implied in the opening verse of this section is that of accomplishment, success, and even pride, and in the heights of this wave of success, disaster strikes. Note that this predicament comes from God Himself, as even in our pride and self-sufficiency the Lord loves us enough to humble us and then bring us back into His loving care (vs.29-31). So as in each of the other areas, Jesus becomes overwhelmed with the consequences of human pride. Where do you see this in Scripture? When the world of the proud comes crashing down, how can we love them in such a way to bring them to the Cross?
