Crave Pure Milk
Read - 1 Peter 2:2-3
Here, as opposed to Paul’s usage in 2 Corinthians 3:2, Peter uses the notion of babies and milk in a most positive light. A baby craves milk instinctively for sustenance and for nourishment, and so too, the believer should approach the Word of God with an insatiable desire, a hunger to nourish one’s soul. (See Psalm 119). How can reading God’s Word as a discipline “jump-start” reading God’s Word as a personal necessity?
