Acts 2 Pentecost
Pentecost was a unique event in it’s time and would be in our time as well. What can we learn from what happened here? Does the context of Acts 2 suggest that this event is a model for all Christians for all time,     (read chapters 1 & 3), or that this event was foundational to a new move of God, or both? Have you witnessed or experienced anything like what is described in the details of Pentecost?

John 14:23-26; 15:26; 16:5-15; Acts 1:8 Origin
Jesus promised the disciples, that upon His return to the Father, He would send the Holy Spirit. List the roles of the Holy Spirit that Jesus makes plain in the verses above. (This list is not exhaustive mind you). What, according to Acts 1:8 is the purpose of the Holy Spirit’s coming? Has your witness to your world been emboldened by the Holy Spirit in your life- why or why not? What do you hope to learn, or how do you hope to grow through this series?

Galatians 2:20/Romans 6:1
This miraculous exchange is not figurative or symbolic but literal and actual.  The spiritual part of every Christian has LITERALLY and ACTUALLY  been crucified, buried and raised with Christ.  Read Colossians 3:3 & 2 Corinthians 5:17. Do you understand this critical aspect of the Christian faith?  How does Galatians 5:13 now tell us we are to live?
