Being connected - we become friends! Here at GBC, we believe becoming part of a small group allows us to grow in our relationships. We encourage each other, help carry one another's burdens, and become more Christ-like as we study and learn the Word of God.
Children
Sunday School
We provide care for all children - ages infant through fifth grade - during each Sunday morning worship services. Each service provides children with the same Bible concepts presented in different styles.

Awana
Awana meets every Wednesday night from 6-8:00pm during the school year. Every boy and girl, ages 3 years to 5th grade are welcome to come!
Praise Kids
Praise Kids is a children's choir for children in grades 2-5. They meet every Wednesday from 5:15-5:45pm during the school year, and perform periodically for the Sunday morning worship services.
Puppet Ministry
"ACT of Faith in the Puppet Playhouse" meets Thursday nights during the school year at the church from 6-7:30pm. The puppet ministry teaches the children basic Bible lessons by performing simple puppet skits Biblical themes. Any interested child in 2nd-6th grade is welcome to join.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School is a week long event for kids that is held once a year in the summer time.

Young Adults
The 20's Group
The 20's group welcomes any young adults from graduated high school to 30 years old. They meet every Tuesday night at 7:00pm in the S-wing.
Women
Wednesday AM Ladies Bible Study
This study meets every Wednesday from 9:20-11:00am during the school year. Childcare for pre-schoolers and home-schooled children is provided. For current study information, visit website referenced below.

MOMS
MOMS is a group of mothers who meet to encourage one another through fellowship as well as listening to speakers with messages relevant to mothering. They typically meet on the first Friday of the month. Childcare for pre-schoolers and home-schooled children is provided.
Men
His Men
"His Men" is a weekly study program designed for GBC men who desire an in-depth time of study, discussion and application. This fall we'll look at the first "gospel" written about Jesus Christ and seek to understand Mark's portrait and perspective. All GBC men are welcomed and invited! Meetings are held every Tuesday from 7-8:00pm in the Conference Room.
Men's Prayer Breakfast
We meet on the first Saturday of each month in the S-wing, next to the kitchen from 7-9:00am. It is a time of food, fellowship, and prayer as we lift up the prayers and concerns of our GBC church body.
DADS
DADS holds periodic activities for dads and their children of all ages,"To support and encourage dads as we connect with our children and lead our families in Christ." The focus is to provide opportunities for dads to interact and connect with their children. Please see the chapel calendar for upcoming events, or contact the chapel office with any questions.
Grow / Heal
Divorce Care
Find Help, Discover Hope, Experience Healing. DivorceCare meets every week to help you recover from the pain of separation or divorce. This weekly support group and seminar will help you learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.
Stephen Ministry
God's Love in Action - is provided by trained lay people giving distinctly Christian, confidential, one-to-one care to individuals in our congregation and community who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. Stephen Ministers are ready to provide the emotional and spiritual care we need when faced with a crisis or life's difficulties.

Celebrate Recovery
Celebrate Recovery is designed to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery uses the Purpose-Driven Church strategy that attracts and wins the unchurched, develops them to spiritual maturity, equips them for ministry and helps them establish a life mission in the world.

Special Interests
His Sentiments Card Ministry
This ministry meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday each month from 7-9:00pm. We make handmade cards for those in our fellowship (and people they are connected with) to celebrate births, to share sympathy and for all other occasion between. We have a great time of fellowship as we are making these cards. We pray for those who will be receiving the cards. We pray for each other as well. If you've never made cards, we can teach you. Join us--we have a good time!
