Elders

Meet the Elders

We believe that the New Testament teaches and provides evidence for plurality of church leadership: Acts 14:23; Acts 20:17,28; Phil. 1:1; Titus 1:5 and James 5:14. These church leaders are called elders or overseers and GBC currently has nine men serving in this capacity. Together, these men, with God's guidance and leading, steer GBC and its ministries. The elders then provide direction, leadership, and guidance to the staff to carryout the vision for the church.

Those currently serving as elders at Groton Bible Chapel are: Jim Adams, Lloyd Bayreuther, Gary Campbell, Jr., Mike Gianattassio, Tim Lenes, Bob McCoy, Dave Mewha, Mark Spruance, and Frank Vitale.
